Q. Is Sena Spa really a small business?
A. Sena Spa, Sena Spa at the Teton Club LLC, is independently owned and owner-operated as a concessionaire to the Teton Club. Sena is one of very few truly small businesses in Teton Village.
Q. The signs say “Members Only, Teton Club is a Private Building.” Can I walk in to ask about service?
A. Yes, the Teton Club is private. No, please do not walk in for any reason without an appointment. Kindly respect your scheduled appointment permits entrance. A call must be made prior to entrance into the Teton Club. Amenities and entrance are solely for the scheduled guest client friends/family are not permitted to enter without their own spa appointment.
Q. I walked in any way and no one was at Sena Spa’s desk? Why?
A. Sena Spa does not always have desk representation. Our owner/operator is both a Licensed Massage Therapist and a Licensed Esthetician. She often steps away from the desk to complete services.
Q. What should I do if I entered Teton Club and no one there? Can the Front Desk Help?
A. Please exit the Teton Club as it is a private membership club.
Q. I am outside waiting and you are not calling back?
A. We will contact you at our earliest convenience with availability and service options. If we do not answer we are likely in service and unable to speak to you until service is completed. This might mean a 15-minute wait, it might mean 100. We are dedicating our time to the scheduled client or group and ask for your patience and understanding. We are so happy to work with you, provided you make an appointment first. Thank you for your understanding. It is not our intention to appear unprofessional.
Text our cell phone 307.699.0630 for expedited service. We will not interrupt/delay service to communicate; however, we can often send a quick message to let you know we will contact and when.
Q. I’m leaving today/tomorrow. I’m in a hurry. Should I walk in to request an exception?
A. We regret the wait. Please do not walk in. An appointment is a must. If you have not heard from us it may require waiting. We will do our best to accommodate you within our means, your flexibility, and our scheduling.
We do understand you are in a big hurry to relax or have a nagging issue addressed, we promise. However; if you keep calling and hanging up without leaving a message we will not know who called and it will slow the time it takes to schedule an appointment. We ask that you consider we may be in session and understand that we will contact you.
Q. What Info is needed to book an appointment?
A. Name, Phone Number, Requested Service, Date and Time. Please state where you are staying, such as, “village condo,” “in-town,” “Four Seasons.”
We will have instructions regarding your permitted entrance into the Teton Club and we want to know it is logistically possible for you to reach us within your requested time frame. Kindly ensure to have reviewed this brief instruction so we can best assist you and provide our world-class service. It is of utmost importance for us to be prepared to receive you.
Q. Why don’t you have a front desk person at Sena Spa?
A. The economics of Jackson require staying busy and being resourceful. Instead of paying a front desk person to tell you we are booked, we invest in our stellar service providers and call you back at our earliest convenience.
Our volume is smaller than large corporate spas but we often have a full book of service. In Summer we perform some contracted spa services on-location and services in area homes often working with the same groups annually.
Q. Can’t I just ask the Teton Club Front Desk to book for me?
A. Please direct your inquiries to Sena Spa, Sena Spa is privately owned and operates separately from the Teton Club. It is faster to cut out the “middleman” and contact us directly. Please leave a voicemail or detailed text message.
The Teton Club front desk staff is very helpful and a concierge for our Teton Club Owners/Guests. However, TC Front Desk are not versed in the specifics of the work certified spa professionals perform. The Teton Club leaves a message and we at Sena Spa call back at our earliest convenience. The Teton Club Front Desk spa bookings nor share a database with Sena Spa.
Q. I heard Wyoming has no standards, laws, or regulation for Massage Therapists?
A. It’s true and unfortunate. At Sena, we provide top-notch experienced professionals.
Q. Why don’t you have therapists waiting for walk-ins?
A. We don’t work with just any therapists or keep a long laundry list of options. Sena Spa contracts an elite team of trusted certified service providers who need the notice to commute to Teton Village. Congestion, road work, animal diversions and resultant traffic blockages, weather, and event logistics mean many workers are driving 60-90 minutes, often farther, slowly, each way to get to work.
Q. Why do you ask for lead time. Aren’t therapists nearby?
Unless notice is given, providers are frequently otherwise booked in the Summer.
Gentrification, economics, the local housing crisis combined mean local workforce lives farther and farther from Jackson Hole. Summer guests are highly scheduled for excursions/activities which results in inconsistent booking times. With the supply and demand of tourism, service providers need to keep busy to afford to live in JH or the vicinity. We contract with professionals, many of whom have their own practice.
Q. Do you allow any walk-ins?
A. We have limited walk-in service for Teton Club in-house condominium guests only. Outside guests always require advance booking.
Teton Club members are given priority for last minute services. Outside of scheduled bookings, we can accommodate some walk-ins for our Teton Club in-house guests only. Do understand, Sena Spa is not set up to handle outside guests walking in or drop-in traffic.
We regret it is not a suggestion it is our requirement to serve you. We do our best to represent the desk and handle inquiries at our earliest convenience. Walk-in appointments are very limited even for Teton Club guests. We come in as early as 8 a.m. and as late as 8 p.m. On long days we may abbreviate our hours. We do encourage and appreciate all guests to book in advance for our planning purposes.
Q. I wanted to purchase products/gifts /gift certificates from Sena’s Boutique??
A. Please schedule an appointment to shop. We ask that you make an appointment to visit Sena Spa Boutique.
Our boutique has curated items and is set up for spa clients to pick up things after a service, we regret Sena’s Spa & small boutique are not set up as a store with a clerk, even during business hours. We are happy to consult in a relaxed no-pressure environment. Our scheduled appointments do come first.
Q. Can I consult about service? I don’t want to book an appointment without seeing Sena Spa.
A. Yes. Kindly give as much advance as possible. Call Megan 307.699.0630. From 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. I will respond to inquiries at my earliest convenience.
Q. Is Sena actually a “spa?”
A. Yes, we are a spa in name and in the quality of treatment, services, and customer service provided. Sena Spa considers ourselves an integrated wellness facility, in that, we are an athletically minded day spa that offers modern skincare practice.
After 16 years of working at and being a client of the world’s top destination, boutique spas, and seeking out master bodyworkers, I can assure you Sena Spa is a well-appointed professional facility by certified technicians. Wyoming has no massage regulation. Our owner has taken great care to contract and provide the BEST of the Best.
Q. What are your most popular treatments?
A. Our most requested treatments are Peak Performance Integrative Massage , the Ultimate Combo and 80 Minute DermaSound™ Elite Skin Care treatment .
If you want a true indulgence, our 100 Minute or 130 Minute Alpenglow Body Polish “Ultimate” treatment combinations offer a decadent experience with the added benefit of relieving sore muscles and exfoliating and moisturizing skin followed by a therapeutic massage.
Q. We want a couples treatment/We have a group. How many treatments can you do at the same time?
A. We often work with groups from bridal parties to family spa days at Sena and on location pre/post event. With notice, we can have as many as 5 massages occurring simultaneously. We are happy to accommodate requests; however, we do need advance notice to arrange multiple services simultaneously.
Q. Do I still need to make an appointment in Winter?
A. Yes. Outside guests must always reserve in advance. In winter we have a dedicated workforce on call and often onsite. Outside guests must still make an appointment. We often have back to back appointments with all 4 treatment rooms in session apres ski.
Q. Do you work with kids/teens?
A. Yes. With consideration and consultation. We recommend 25 – 50-minute massage or facial
Our owner has worked with children throughout her career and considers it an honor to introduce the wellness lifestyle.
Q. What is needed to book my child’s appointment?
A. We do need the extra time to handle consent forms, and, in most cases, the parent will be in the room receiving a side-by-side treatment. We’ll explain the service, the draping technique, general aspects of the human body as it relates to massage. Pricing for children is the same as adults.
NOTE: We ask that the child be old enough to understand massage, generally 10 or older (though we have made exceptions on a case-by-case basis). We will consult and discuss prior to offering an appointment. Parents, please consider not all kids want to receive a spa service. It is expected that the child wishes to receive a therapeutic spa service. If it is determined for any reason that your child should not receive service we will discuss the reasoning for declining service (this has occurred on rare occasions).
Q. I’m Lost. What’s the difference between Teton Mountain Lodge and The Teton Club?
A. Sena Spa at The Teton Club is not affiliated with Teton Mountain Lodge. It’s a frequent error. Teton Mountain Lodge/Spa Terre is another facility.
We are often in treatment and unable to give direction. If we are not at the Spa desk we are in session. We regret we cannot assist you. Please do not enter, open doors or call out to us. This has happened on rare occasions and is truly off-putting. Please exit the Teton Club private premise.
Sena Spa is #15 in the TVA map
Scroll to the bottom to view Village Map.
Noble House Corporation’s Spa Terre in Teton Mountain Lodge. Or, Noble House Corporation’s Chill Spa, inside Hotel Terra. The naming causes confusion. Both are relatively near, 8-10 minutes walking. We do suggest calling Chill Spa/ Hotel Terra (#4 TVA Map) or Spa Terre/Teton Mountain Lodge/TML (#1 TVA Map).
